Points are earned through three categories: Battle, Hobby, and Community. Each category has multiple ways of earning points as well as information on how to report your achievements so you get credit. You can gain points in each category from both Age of Sigmar and Warcry, but the total in each category is 10. Any points over 10 in any particular category are lost.

BATTLE POINTS

You can earn a maximum of 10 Battle Points per month. Battle Points are earned as follows:

  • Earn 1 point for playing a game of Warcry or Age of Sigmar
  • Earn 1 point for winning a game of Warcry or Age of Sigmar
  • Earn 1 point for playing against a league opponent

Reporting Battle Points

Battle Points are reported by submitting your game results through the battle form. Each participant needs to submit a form to get credit for the game.

HOBBY POINTS

You can earn a maximum of 10 Hobby Points per month.

For Age of Sigmar, Hobby Points are earned for the following:

  • Earn 1 point for every 100 points of units built
  • Earn 1 point for every 100 points of units painted and based
  • Earn 1 point for every scenery kit built (includes faction terrain)
  • Earn 1 point for every scenery kit painted (includes faction terrain)
  • Earn 1-3 points for scratch built terrain (amount of points depends on the scope of the project)
  • Earn 1 point for naming your army, your general, and each of your units
  • Earn 2 points for writing a short narrative for your army

For Warcry, Hobby Points are earned for the following:

  • Earn 1 point for every 100 points of models built
  • Earn 1 point for every model painted and based
  • Earn an additional 3 points for each completely painted and based warband
  • Earn 2 points for every Ravaged Lands set built (includes the starter set)
  • Earn 2 points for every Ravaged Lands set painted ( includes the starter set)
  • Earn 1-3 points for scratch built terrain (amount of points depends on the scope of the project)
  • Earn 2 points for generating a background for your warband following all the rules on page 134 of the Warcry Core Rulebook
  • Earn 2 points for writing a short narrative for one of your warbands

All points are rounded up. If you built 455 points worth of units, round up to 500 which would score you 5 hobby points. For Warcry, use the point values for your warband in a game of Age of Sigmar. These values are available for free in the Warscroll Builder.

Earning Hobby Points

For building and painting, post before and after pictures on the Austin Age of Sigmar Facebook Group using the hashtag #AustinAoSLeague or through the Austin Age of Sigmar Discord server in the austin-aos-league channel. For scratch built terrain, I’ll assign you points based on the scope of the project. You can also post your background, unit names, and narratives or email them to me at: admin@aosleague.com

COMMUNITY POINTS

You can earn a maximum of 10 Community Points per month. Community Points are earned as follows:

  • Earn 1 point for every $25 you spend at a league store (includes models, paint, terrain, books, brushes, etc.)
  • Earn 1 point for playing a game at a league store
  • Earn 1 point for playing at a league store for the first time
  • Earn 1 point for playing an opponent for the first time
  • Earn 2 points for playing with a fully painted army/warband (3 colors minimum and bases need some sort of texture)
  • Earn 2 points for attending a Warcry or Age of Sigmar related event (paint night, etc.) or tournament at a league store
  • Earn 3 points for recruiting a friend and having him/her register for the league

Earning Community Points

For all purchases, post an image of your receipt on the Austin Age of Sigmar Facebook Group using the hashtag #AustinAoSLeague or through the Austin Age of Sigmar Discord server in the austin-aos-league channel. If you don’t want to post your receipt, you can email it to me direct at: admin@aosleague.com

Playing at a league store, against a league opponent for the first time, and playing with a fully painted army/warband are reported through the battle form. If you are attending an event at a league store, post on Facebook or on the Discord server. If you referred a friend make sure they add your name on the registration form.

ADDITIONAL POINTS

As the league progresses there will be additional achievements posted which will allow you to score points. Announcements for the league will be posted here on the website, on the Discord server, and on the Austin Age of Sigmar Facebook Group. Be sure to check periodically for additional opportunities to earn points.
